The concept of using something old to make something new is not groundbreaking but is extremely relevant these days. The very nature of jewellery allows me to break it down into its components and use them again to create something new and extraordinary.  I call this concept Re-Jewel.

Since teaching myself how to make jewellery as a child, I have always loved the idea of making a piece of jewellery, taking it apart and making something else. That still holds true for me today but have found a few more reasons to make Re-Jewel my goal where possible.

Re-using old metal and gemstones has become important for environmental, sentimental and economic reasons. So many people have a box full of jewellery that they have collected, been given or has been handed down and my thought is if you have it – use it!  Working with client’s old materials I have designed and created new engagement and wedding sets, pendants, earrings, bracelets and brooches.

If you have old metal and or gemstones and would like to talk to me about creating something new I will help you figure out what is possible and take you through the process.

Re-use, Re-cycle, Re-Jewel!
